Choose Try Demo from Weddings or Settings & Data. The fictional plan is separate from your wedding library and never starts your trial. Mark Morgan Away, record a partial group, return Morgan, complete the pending groups, then reopen a retake to see the release cue change.
Plan and run a wedding
Create a wedding, add distinguishable people and named groups, then open Preflight. Confirm who is present before starting Live. Full Captured requires confirmation of the complete group. Partial, Hold, Away and Retake remain unresolved until you complete or explicitly waive the affected group. Finish requires zero pending groups; Pause preserves an unfinished run.
Import, export and restore safely
CSV uses order,shot,people columns, with semicolons between people. Review every identity mapping before import. Event Plan provides PDF/CSV and wedding backup; Settings & Data provides complete backup, restore and recovery snapshots. Back up to a trusted destination. A .formalsflow file restores an independent copy and excludes purchases and device run grants; CSV is not a complete backup.
Trial, Lifetime and Restore Purchases
Open Settings & Data → Trial & Lifetime. The zero-price 7-day Trial lasts 168 hours from the original verified Apple transaction; installation and Demo do not start it. Lifetime is a one-time US$9.99 purchase, with no subscription. Apple shows the actual price before purchase. Restore Purchases uses the same Apple Account and does not restart a used trial or recover wedding files. First activation, purchase and explicit restoration need Apple services. Verified access is cached for offline work; an already authorized run can continue until Finish.
Saving problems and support
If a save fails, the last saved state is retained. Check available device storage and retry; do not uninstall or reset the device. Rejected backups do not replace your current library. Email the app version, device/iOS version and reproduction steps. Avoid sending guest names, wedding notes, backup files, receipts or payment details unless deliberately needed for the issue.
