Wedding data stays local by default
FormalsFlow stores wedding titles, dates, notes, guest names and distinguishing labels, group memberships, presence, capture attempts, historical snapshots and audit records in private device storage. It has no app account, developer-operated server, CloudKit sync, analytics, advertising or third-party crash-reporting SDK. It requests no camera, microphone, location, Contacts or photo-library access. It does not take or inspect photographs.
Apple purchases and device access records
Apple StoreKit handles the zero-price 7-day Trial, Lifetime purchase, verification and Restore Purchases. Verified transaction facts and conservative time observations are cached in device Keychain. A separate local run grant protects an authorized wedding until Finish. These access records are excluded from user business backups. Hailink Labs operates no receipt server and receives no payment-card details. Apple processes commerce and system diagnostics under its own policies.
Exports are chosen by you
PDF, CSV and .formalsflow backups may contain guest names, notes and capture history. You preview and choose a Files or Share destination. FormalsFlow does not automatically send your wedding library to Hailink Labs. Backups are readable JSON, not encrypted by this app; their checksum detects corruption and is not an authentication guarantee. File providers, iCloud Drive, system/device backups and recipients have their own practices. We cannot recall exported copies.
Storage protection, recovery and deletion
Persistent files use iOS data protection. The app keeps up to five local recovery snapshots; these do not replace an external backup or protect against losing the device. Deleted weddings remain in Trash for 30 days. Permanent deletion requires confirmation. Historical snapshots can retain names as they appeared when recorded. Manage recovery snapshots, external files and system backups separately; deleting or uninstalling the app does not revoke shared copies or necessarily erase Keychain purchase records.
Support correspondence
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and deliberately attached files to answer and resolve the issue. Do not send guest identities, wedding backups, receipts or payment details. Our company mailbox uses Tencent business email; Hailink Labs in China may access support messages. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising. Correspondence is retained for no longer than 12 months after issue closure unless an ongoing issue or legal obligation requires longer. You may request access, correction or deletion by email; we may verify the relevant email address.
Website and policy changes
This website has no analytics, tracking scripts, accounts or contact forms. GitHub Pages processes technical requests such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website. Material policy changes will be explained here with an updated effective date. Contact the company email below with privacy questions.
