BeatMend turns rhythm practice into a small experiment. Listen to a short pattern, hold one large sound pad, let go for quiet, and hear your own playing. Predict a change, explore one part of a separate copy, listen to the difference, then play again with your own hands.
Designed for ages 6–8, with a parent nearby for the first session. No instrument, microphone or in-app account is needed. BeatMend is a rhythm activity, not a professional assessment or a replacement for a music teacher.
Explore 24 short activities across four chapters: First Experiments, Change the Start, Change the End, and Move the Sound. Changing a start keeps its ending still; changing an ending keeps its start still; moving a sound keeps its length the same. Clearly marked teaching Examples remain separate from your own playing. Moving a block is an experiment, not proof of a successful new performance.
One free Example is available without starting a trial. A parent can actively start a seven-day full trial or purchase lifetime access. Opening the app does not start the trial. The U.S. lifetime purchase is $9.99; the current App Store price appears in the parent area before purchase. No subscription, automatic renewal, advertisements or paid activity packs.
Practice works locally after access is activated. Private iCloud sync is off by default and can be enabled by a parent. Complete JSON export and merge restore, deletion and purchase restoration are managed behind a parent reading gate. Records and data tools remain available after trial expiry. Use the device speaker at a comfortable volume; this version uses unscored exploration and awards no formal progress because speaker timing has not been calibrated.
Available platform target: iPhone and iPad, iOS/iPadOS 18 or later. Planned store availability: 58 markets; language: English (U.S.). Public availability is not announced until an actual App Store listing has been verified.
