Record and compare
Create a kiln and firing, name and reorder shelves, add before photos and optional manual piece marks. Confirm loading, begin unloading in reverse shelf order, add after photos, missing-photo reasons and results, then complete the records. Compare one shelf or manually selected shelves and pieces across firings. App states describe recording progress, not temperature or safe opening. Follow your kiln operating instructions.
Export and recover
PDF and CSV are for reading, not recovery. Save a full ZIP to Files. Import validates paths, schema, hashes, images and relationships before appending independent records with new IDs. Existing records are retained, duplicates skipped and purchase access excluded. Save important backups outside this device. On save failure, keep the draft, free space and retry; never uninstall without an external full backup.
Photos
Denied camera access still allows Choose Photo. Enable Camera in system Settings when needed. Cloud-only photos may need downloading. Resized recording JPEGs are not color-calibrated references.
Lifetime and help
Two user firing records include all features free. Archived records count; the labeled sample and Trash do not. Lifetime unlocks unlimited new firings with one purchase, US reference $19.99, subject to storage. No subscription or Family Sharing. Existing records, editing, exports and recovery remain available. Use Restore Purchases with the purchasing Apple Account. Apple displays the applicable price. Include app version, steps and exact error; share private records only if you choose.
