Local records
Kiln profiles, firings, shelves, manual piece marks, observations, recording photos, drafts and seven metadata snapshots remain in local app storage. No account, developer-operated server, analytics, ads, tracking or automatic cloud sync. Hailink Labs does not receive these records.
Photos and files
Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo. The system PhotosPicker provides selected photos; cloud-only items may need Apple services and a network connection. Recording JPEG copies are resized to at most 2560 pixels and stripped of GPS metadata; originals are not deleted. You choose export, backup, import and sharing destinations. Providers process files under their own policies. Device backups may include app data according to system settings. ZIP backups contain readable records and photos; protect them before sharing.
Purchases
Apple handles the non-consumable Lifetime purchase and restoration. The app accepts verified transactions and caches verified access for offline use. No payment card details are received. Backups do not transfer purchase access.
Retention
Trash records can be restored. Permanent removal requires confirmation and removes applicable current records and photos; independent backups may retain copies. Metadata snapshots are not full external photo backups and cannot protect against device loss or uninstalling. Save a full ZIP outside the app; delete external copies separately.
Website and support correspondence
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages, whose service may process connection and request information under its own privacy statement. The website has no advertising, analytics, contact form or tracking cookies. Voluntary support email follows the existing company support policy and is separate from local firing records.
