Start and check
Create your own piece and at least three landmarks using your edition's bar numbers. Bar 0 supports a pickup. Open the piece and Start Check. Rate first unaided starts honestly. A revealed hint turns a clean rating into Assisted; skipped or interrupted landmarks remain untested.
Practice and recover
Review clean/tested/planned counts, then Practice Weak Spots. Forward Recovery starts at the nearest later landmark and never wraps. Practice and recovery do not overwrite the Check. History preserves versions and explicit corrections. CueLadder does not listen, grade notes or certify readiness; you assess your playing.
Backups and recovery
Settings exports four CSV files or a complete .cueladderbackup with images and history. CSV is not a full backup. Restore validates the full backup, previews replacement and creates a pre-restore copy before replacing your library; it does not merge. Save important backups outside the app. Retry saving errors before continuing; do not uninstall when recovering unreadable local data.
Lifetime
One active piece includes all training, history, export and backup for free. Archive your current piece to activate another while retaining history. Lifetime unlocks multiple active pieces with a one-time non-consumable purchase, US reference $14.99. No subscription, timed trial or Family Sharing. Apple displays the current applicable price. Restore Purchases restores access through your Apple Account; Restore Backup restores practice data.
