Children and local learning
TillTinker is designed for children ages 6–8 and their parents. It does not request an app account, child name, email, birthday or identity profile. Hailink Labs does not collect personal information through the app or operate an app backend. Guided mission progress, active rounds, coin moves, Undo history, Replay, receipts, completion dates and settings are stored on the device using SwiftData.
Optional private iCloud progress
Progress sync is off by default. A parent can enable it in Parents. It uses Apple CloudKit private storage to merge completed guided mission IDs and chapter progress across devices using the same iCloud account. Active rounds, drawers, trays, Undo history and detailed Replay do not sync. Apple processes iCloud information under its policies. Hailink Labs does not receive these records on a developer-operated server. Core learning remains available when iCloud is off, unavailable or not signed in.
Apple purchases and the trial clock
Apple processes the parent-started free seven-day trial, the one-time Lifetime purchase and purchase restoration through StoreKit. The app uses verified Apple transaction information for access; it does not store an unlock flag in a learning backup. A local Keychain time watermark prevents moving the device clock backward from extending the trial. Hailink Labs does not receive payment card details or operate a purchase receipt server. Apple may process purchase and diagnostic information under its policies and your device settings.
Backups, safety copies and deletion
A parent can export a versioned JSON learning backup to a destination they choose. It includes learning history and settings, never purchase access, trial entitlement or Apple receipts. Importing or resetting learning first saves a safety copy on this device. Reset Learning Data removes current local rounds and receipts; internal safety copies can remain. If sync is enabled, cloud completion progress can return. Turning sync off does not delete previous iCloud records.
Removing the app removes its app-container learning data and internal safety copies. Exported files, Apple-managed iCloud data and operating-system backups must be managed separately through their storage services and Apple settings. The Keychain trial-clock record can remain after reinstalling. Restoring purchases restores access, not detailed learning history. Hailink Labs cannot recover local learning history from a server.
Permissions, sound and tracking
The app does not request microphone, camera, location, photos, contacts, Bluetooth or notification permission. Sound plays prerecorded files; it does not listen, record or send audio to a voice service. All learning can be completed silently. There are no ads, tracking, third-party analytics or third-party crash reporting SDKs.
Parent support and websites
Purchases, restoration, data export and external links are behind a parent check. If a parent emails support, we receive the email address, message and attachments. Do not send children’s names, photos, voices, learning backups, payment details or other personal information. We use correspondence only to provide support, not advertising. Our company mailbox uses Tencent business email; Hailink Labs in China may access support messages. Messages are retained for no longer than 12 months after the issue closes unless an ongoing issue or legal obligation requires longer.
This website has no analytics, tracking scripts, accounts or contact forms. GitHub Pages processes technical requests such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Parents can email us to request access, correction or deletion of support information. We may verify a request using the relevant email address. Material policy changes will be explained here with an updated effective date.
