Export and backup
Export invoices and estimates as PDFs, and customers and service items as CSV. Save a full backup for restoration; a PDF is not a restorable business backup.
Use Settings to export a full backup before moving devices or restoring data. Restore replaces local business data after confirmation; keep a separate copy first. iCloud copies and exported files need to be managed separately.

Can I reuse a previous invoice without changing the original?
Use Invoice Again to start a new invoice from a previous job. Check the customer, service, date, quantities and rates before finalizing the new document. Keep the earlier invoice as the record of the earlier work.
What counts toward the five free invoices and estimates?
Free includes five finalized invoices and estimates combined per calendar month. Drafts do not count. An estimate and a later finalized invoice are two documents in that combined allowance; it is not five of each type.
Is SameJob a free trial or a subscription?
SameJob has an ongoing Free plan, not a seven-day trial. Pro removes the document allowance with monthly, yearly or lifetime access. US reference prices are $1.49/month, $14.99/year or $29.99 once; monthly and yearly plans renew until canceled through Apple. Check your local App Store price.
Does Invoice Again automatically bill or charge my customer?
No. You review and finalize each new invoice yourself. SameJob does not process or hold customer payments. Add your own payment instructions and mark payment status manually; a Paid status is your record, not independent payment confirmation.
Can I use SameJob as a shared team billing system?
It is designed for a solo service business. Available private iCloud sync uses your own Apple Account, not a team workspace or customer portal. You can share exported PDFs with other people.
What stays available when I use the Free plan?
Your history, exports, full backups and restore remain available. PDF invoices and estimates are document copies; customers and service items can be exported as CSV. Use a full backup to restore business data rather than treating a PDF or CSV as a complete backup.
Can I work offline? Do I need an account or cloud sync?
Your local database is the primary store. No SameJob account is required. When available, iCloud sync and backup use your private Apple CloudKit database. Cloud features are enabled by default and can be switched off in Settings; local work remains available.
How do I back up or move to another iPhone?
Use Settings to export a full backup before moving devices or restoring data. Restore replaces local business data after confirmation; keep a separate copy first. iCloud copies and exported files need to be managed separately.
